Welcome to BookTickler.com, a place to write, promote, and sell your book, one intriguing blog post at a time.

The Internet has shifted the paradigms of publishing, whether it be the music to which we listen, movies that we watch, or books that we read. If the product is information, the Internet can deliver it directly from producer to consumer.

These days we have music artists like <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Rainbows"title="In Rainbows" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/en.wikipedia.org');">Radiohead and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghosts_I%E2%80%93IV#Release"title="Ghosts I-IV Self-Released Album" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/en.wikipedia.org');">Nine Inch Nails selling their music directly from their websites without major label recording contracts. <a href="http://www.news.com/8301-10784_3-9726590-7.html"title="YouTube Video Star" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.news.com');">YouTube and the more risqué <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZnVMi0tFFY"title="An Ode to YouPorn" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.youtube.com');">YouPorn are changing their respective industries, giving anyone with a video-camera an even chance at becoming a star.

With the Internet, distribution is no longer a hurdle that an individual artist needs help with, financially, nor logistically.

<a href="http://booktickler.com/wp-signup.php"title="BookTickler ebook blog publishing" >Create a blog at BookTickler.com and start writing: a paragraph, a page, a chapter or an entire book.

Get people reading your work. Get people excited. Let them <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rss_feed"title="Subcribe to your book through RSS" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/en.wikipedia.org');">subscribe to your RSS feed as your book evolves. Then when you’re ready you can package and sell your work as an eBook, release it as an HTML book, have it printed and delivered on demand, or <a href="http://gettingreal.37signals.com"title="Getting Real ebook" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/gettingreal.37signals.com');">all three like Getting Real.

The Internet is changing the book industry. <a href="http://booktickler.com/wp-signup.php"title="Create a BookTickler.com Blog" >Create your own blog now at BookTickler and start changing with it.
